Your guide Mouna Mekouar, curator together with Lorenzo Giusti of Back to the Future, will take you into the section that, each year, brings together a selection of works made during one particular period. Entitled When the Sky is Low and Heavy – a tribute to the work of David Lamelas – this edition will introduce you to works created between 1960 and 1999.
How did some of the greatest exponents of national and international art represent the relationship between man and nature? At the heart of the debates, both yesterday and today, a critical observation of the past helps us understand the strategies adopted to preserve memories and give relevance to the artistic languages of tomorrow. At a moment in history that has revealed its own extreme fragility, caused by constant overreach and adjustments, you will find part of the answer in this special virtual event.
The event will be held on the Zoom platform.
