The eighth edition of Art Site Fest is dedicated to storytelling. Art has always been inspired by the infinite possibilities of narrative, celebrating stories and giving them a visual dimension. We ask art to return to telling, in these difficult times, because narration is a way to save ourselves. As Sherazade teaches us. One of the characteristics of Art Site Fest is the dialogue between disciplines: the visual arts are flanked by theatre, dance, music and, for this edition, cinema. Lech Majewski sets his Bruegel Suite in the Sala Staffarda of Palazzo Madama, bringing the Flemish painter’s work into dialogue with the wooden choir of the Piedmontese Abbey. A publication, produced by Teca edizioni, is dedicated to Majewski’s revisitation. Teca’s recent editions will be presented on the occasion, including, always for Art Site Fest, Danza Nocturna by Elizabeth Aro, with a text by Mariana Travacio.
