Art and fashion have always had close ties, and over the years their interaction has given rise to extraordinary masterpieces, such as the unforgettable Mondrian Dress created by Yves Saint Laurent in 1965.
Today the dialogue between art and fashion extends into various aspects, from simple aesthetic influence to complex interchange of know-how and trends, making a major contribution to the formulation of the visual and social imaginary in which we live.
This talk sets out to investigate the most interesting examples and timely directions of this increasingly widespread and media-driven relationship.
