An international pioneer of conceptual art, during his career Antoni Muntadas has worked in a variety of diferent media with the aim of unearthing the conflicts that occur in the invisible processes that regulate the communication, transmission and decoding of cultures. From the 1970s to the present, his work has explored social, political and communication issues, such as the relationship between public and private space within certain social contexts, and analysed the channels of information and the way in which they are used to censor or promulgate ideas. The volume, published to mark the exhibition Muntadas.
