Archivorum Ark, a program initiated by Archivorum and developed in collaboration with Galleria Continua and Fondazione Antonio Ratti, supports three postgraduate students biannually (2023 – 2025) in collaboration with selected artists, Nil Yalter, Babs Haenen, and Belén Uriel. The project approaches the archive as a living, creative, and research tool, fostering intergenerational collaborations and sharing outcomes through digital platforms and critical publications. In line with the understanding of the archive as a platform of exchange, which in the past has generated collective moments, public talks, and study days, Archivorum Ark presents at Artissima 2025 a live conversation between artist Belén Uriel and curator Eléonore Besse from AWARE (Archives of Women Artists, Research & Exhibitions), introduced by Rossana Miele (Archivorum), Davide Colapinto (Galleria Continua), and Lorenzo Benedetti (Fondazione Antonio Ratti). Moving between Uriel’s sculptural practice and AWARE’s work in restoring visibility to women artists, the dialogue will explore how artistic processes, archival and curatorial practices can intertwine, bringing empowerment, knowledge, and a living legacy into the present and the future.
