At the conclusion of the three phases of the MILLESUONI programme, a vinyl publication bringing together all the layered aspects of this experience will be presented at Artissima. Held during the Berlin Biennale, the project curated by Lisa Andreani took place across three different venues – Volksbühne, Neun Kelche, and MONOM – and involved sound artists Ramona Ponzini and Nicola Di Croce, alongside designer Nicolò Pellarin. Drawing on an intersectional approach, MILLESUONI explores the sonic realm as a space for new forms of equality, calling for a cultural reorientation in which sound becomes an expansive and generative force. At this level, aural phenomena do not merely trace the movement of bodies through space but embody presence, relationality, and emotional resonance. MILLESUONI is a project realized on the occasion of IT out OFF – Berlin, an initiative promoted by the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture, the Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Italian Cultural Institute in Berlin.
