For the second year, Artissima welcomes anonymous art project into its spaces, an artistic project dedicated to promoting contemporary Japanese art through a vision that interweaves personal responsibility and collective commitment via contemporary art.

Founded in 2023 as an initiative of Japanese entrepreneur Hiroyuki Maki – heir to a family tradition that has made philanthropy a founding value – the project supports Japanese artists, both those emerging and those already recognised at home but still unknown internationally, and fosters direct exchange between curators, museums and cultural institutions between Europe and Japan. anonymous art project has once again chosen Turin and Artissima as its stage to strengthen its ties with Italy, following its first experiences at the fair in 2025 and in Venice for the 2025 Biennale Architettura. In Italy, anonymous art project is represented by Fuyumi Namioka, co-founder of the studio Veronesi Namioka, who oversees all activities and relations with artistic and museum institutions as the project’s cultural representative.

Guided by artistic director Masahiko Haito and with international curatorship by Namiki Serizawa, anonymous art project presents at Artissima three leading figures of the contemporary Japanese scene, reaffirming Turin as a crossroads of artistic research and international openness. The collective Rhizomatiks, founded in Tokyo in 2006, presents Recursive, an interactive multimedia installation based on artificial intelligence; Crazy and Yakusugi,works by Alexa Kumiko Hatanaka (Toronto, Canada, 1988), that are both linocuts hand-carved and hand-printed on traditional Japanese paper using a contemporary technique; and A Sky of Infinite Wishes,  by Sputniko! an ever-evolving panoramic multimedia installation that seeks to question the increasingly blurred boundary between authenticity and fabrication in the age of AI-generated worlds.
