La Guida dei viaggiatori da Arte all’Arte a Le Città del Futuro, produced by Associazione Arte Continua with the support of the Councillor for Culture and Cultural Tourism of the Regione Toscana, is conceived as an update and further exploration of the routes connecting site-specific artworks by artists from the international art community with high-quality food producers. This journey through Val d’Elsa, accompanied by comments and observations from Davide Paolini, Vicente Todolí, Mario Cristiani, and several artists close to the Association, brings together artworks, local food and wine traditions, museums, architecture, and off-the-beaten-track places, featuring a photographic account by Niko Giovanni Coniglio. The book invites readers to discover what Cristiani envisioned as a prototype of an “Agro-Environmental Art District”, to be reshaped and rethought as a new relationship between cities and the countryside, continuing the Glocal journey launched in 1996 with “Arte all’Arte – Arte Architettura Paesaggio”. Designed for both local and international audiences, the guide aims to encourage a conscious and respectful stay, mindful of the fragility of both the artworks and life itself. It is not simply a tourist map, but a genuine travelling cultural project conceived to strengthen local identity and transform travel into an unforgettable experience.
