The first photographic publication entirely dedicated to the Hexenkurse, the “witch courses” conceived by Swiss artist and educator Doris Stauffer, co-founder of F+F, and held in Zurich between 1977 and 1980. The Hexenkurse brought together feminist pedagogy and artistic research through performance, video, and photography. The result of three years of research carried out in collaboration with the Doris Stauffer Archive at the Swiss National Library, the F+F School of Art and Design Zurich, and the Stauffer family, the volume brings together more than 150 photographs, many of them previously unpublished, documenting a radical experience in the history of art and feminism.
