Aldo Mondino (1938-2005) was one of the most brilliant post-war Italian artists, an incomparable eclectic talent, always in balance between ironic conceptualism and redefinition of pictorial and plastic media. This first volume, ordered by the Mondino Archive, collects more than 1600 artworks in over 740 pages: from paintings on linoleum to object-paintings, from chocolate sculptures to the eastern period with the famous works of Whirling Dervishes that brought him a solo show at the Venice Biennial in 1993.
