Artissima Internazionale d’Arte Contemporanea di Torino is ready to welcome you into the spaces of the Oval Lingotto Fiere from 30 October to 1 November 2026. The theme of this thirty-third edition is inspired by an image from the philosopher Martha C. Nussbaum: Fancy: A Flexible, Acrobatic Body. Fancy—the forward projection of imagination—guides the language of art and makes it a flexible, acrobatic body capable of navigating complexities and differences, bringing us closer to those who are different from ourselves.
The fair will present 183 Italian and international galleries, 7 sections, 12 prizes, an acquisitions fund, a special mention and many projects, at the fair and in town. During the run-up, we invite you to discover various previews in the interview with the director Luigi Fassi.
A PANORAMA
This edition of the fair will contain 183 Italian and international galleries, of which 66 will present monographic projects and 37 will be showing at Artissima for the first time.
The galleries come from 35 countries and 4 continents, with a significant presence of exhibitors from Asia and South and Central America, as well as South Africa and the United States. Participants also include galleries from Eastern Europe, France, Germany, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Spain, and Switzerland.
Alongside market offerings at the highest level, as always the fair continues to provide its audience with a multitude of stimuli and cultural and educational projects. Around the city you will find special initiatives, like the program of artists’ films and videos NO FUTURE, curated by Alice Motard at Gallerie d’Italia – Torino, the video installation I Left Something in the Woods by the art duo Hedda Roman at the former Zoo – Parco Michelotti, or the inflatable sculpture by Franco Mazzucchelli at Hotel Principi di Piemonte. There are also exhibitions by artists who received prizes during the last edition of Artissima: Iris Touliatou — winner of the Premio Pista 500 in 2025 — presents a project for the billboard of the Pista 500 of Pinacoteca Agnelli; Louis Morlæ — winner of the Premio illy Present Future 2025 — presents a solo show at Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo.
There will also be numerous special projects at the fair: Artissima Junior, a workshop for children from 6 to 11 years of age, led by Francis Offman; Delizie, the new VIP Lounge designed by Edoardo Piermattei; and MADE IN, now in its fourth edition, showcasing the artworks created during the residencies. Also returning to the fair are WoW – World of Words, a project aimed at promoting publishing and its protagonists, and the anonymous art project, dedicated to promoting contemporary Japanese art. Finally, Intesa Sanpaolo will offer a preview of the photographic exhibition dedicated to Massimo Vitali that will be hosted in 2027 at the Gallerie d’Italia – Torino, while the Archivio Oscar Piattella will present an unprecedented enhancement initiative about the artist.
MOLTITUDINI. A RESIDENCY BETWEEN ART AND POETRY

The Artissima calendar opened this year with the novel residency project Moltitudini, where the poet Laura Accerboni establishes relations with six visual artists based in Torino: Guglielmo Castelli, Sara Enrico, Giorgio Griffa, Tom Johnson, Marzia Migliora and Laura Pugno.
Developed with the support of Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo in the context of the IDENTITY program, Moltitudini will be conveyed to the public in two moments, within the palimpsest of encounters Mondi Possibili, in collaboration with Fondazione Circolo dei lettori:
