Hedda Roman. I Left Something in the Woods

In the setting of Parco Michelotti, inside the former Giardino Zoologico di Torino, in collaboration with Città di Torino Artissima presents I Left Something in the Woods, a video artwork by the artistic duo Hedda Roman, represented by  Sies + Höke gallery, Düsseldorf.

The short film features human figures dissolving into a temporal loop, where the future folds back into the past, contaminating places inhabited by ghosts. Monochromatic images alternate with recurring crystalline structures inspired by Wilson Bentley’s pioneering photographs of snowflakes.

Projected onto the façade of the structure that once housed giraffes and elephants, and in dialogue with the site’s historical memory, the video installation will be accompanied by a special soundtrack curated by DECHA (Viktoria Wehrmeister).
