The balls given to the children in the picture publicized the film Bravissimo, on view in movie theatres in 1955. In the film Alberto Sordi plays the role of a music teacher who pays close attention to the talent for singing of one of his pupils. The young protagonist has such potential that the teacher has to come to terms with his family and institutional figures. Through various misadventures, the film provides an overview of Italy in those years.
