Winners of the prizes

Artissima announces the winners of 13 prizes, honours and supports of the 32nd edition. In 2025, Artissima organizes: four prizes in collaboration with partners, two honours to commemorate outstanding figures in the art world, seven institutional supports for artists and galleries, organized by foundations and organizations.

illy Present Future Prize

Louis Morlae is the winner of the 25th illy Present Future Prize, supported by illycaffè since 2001 and assigned to the most innovative project in the curated section Present Future, the area of Artissima set aside for the discovery of new talents.
The artist is represented by the gallery Rose Easton, London.
The prize has been awarded by an international jury composed of Katerina Gregos, Artistic director, EMST, Athens; Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, President, Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, Torino; Martina Vovk, Director, Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Metelkova, Ljubljana; Damien Zhang, Director, Aranya Art Center, Aranya.

 

Orlane per l’Arte Prize  

Is the gallery ZERO…, Milano the winner of the second edition of the Orlane per l’Arte Prize. Promoted by Orlane, one of the most renowned luxury cosmetics brands, it is designed to support the research and entrepreneurial activity of one of the galleries taking part in the fair.
The prize has been awarded by an international jury composed of Lolita Jablonskiené, Director, National Gallery of Art, Vilnius; Andrea Lissoni, Artistic director, Haus der Kunst, Munich; Bettina Steinbrügge, Director generale, MUDAM Luxembourg.

 

Tosetti Value for photography Prize

The collective Alterazioni Video is the winner of the 6th edition of the Tosetti Value for photography Prize, organized by Tosetti Value — Il Family office and created with the objective of fostering debate and reflection on our globalized world.
The collective is represented by the gallery Guido Costa Projects, Torino.
The prize has been awarded by a jury composed of Chiara Agradi, Curator, Fondation Cartier, Paris; Lucrezia Cippitelli, Curator, Kunst Meran Merano Arte, Meran; Walter Guadagnini, Director, CAMERA — Centro Italiano per la Fotografia, Torino.

 

VANNI #artistroom Prize

Valentina Furian is the winner of the 5th edition of the VANNI #artistroom Prize launched by the brand VANNI occhiali and awarded to the artist whose research can offer an original perspective on reality, acting like a lens to open up an unexpected and surprising horizon.
The artist is presented by the gallery UNA, Piacenza, Milano.
The prize has been awarded by an international jury composed of Nicolas Ballario, Jurnalist; Cristian Chironi, Artist; Fiammetta Griccioli, Curator, Pirelli Hangar Bicocca, Milano.

 

Matteo Viglietta Award

Davide Stucchi wins the 4th edition of the Matteo Viglietta Award, organized by Collezione La Gaia and created to commemorate Matteo Viglietta, a great collector who had a particularly close bond with Artissima from the outset of the fair.
The artist is represented by the gallery Martina Simeti, Milano. The winning work was selected by the Collection to become part of it.

 

Carol Rama Award

Zoe Williams is the winner of the 6th edition of the Carol Rama Award, organized by Fondazione Sardi per l’Arte and GAM – Galleria Civica d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Torino. The honour was assigned to the artist whose research and work interpret the ideal of unconventional feminine creativity and artistic freedom embodied and transmitted by Carol Rama with her creations and her personality.
The artist is represented by the gallery Ciaccia Levi, Paris, Milano.
The prize has been awarded by an international jury composed of Michela Alessandrini, Curator, Fondation Cartier pour l’Art Contemporain, Paris; Véronique Collard-Bovy, Director, Centre d’Art Contemporain de Châteauvert; Giorgio Di Domenico, Postdoctoral research fellow, Scuola Normale Superiore, Pisa.

 

Diana Bracco – Imprenditrici ad Arte Prize

Marta Barbieri and Paola Bonino are the winners of the 3rd edition of Diana Bracco – Imprenditrici ad Arte Prize, organized by Fondazione Bracco in collaboration with Fondazione Roberto de Silva e Diana Bracco, Milano, assigned to emerging Italian or foreign women gallerists whose entrepreneurial background reflects a strong focus on artistic quality and research.
Marta Barbieri and Paola Bonino are the gallerists of UNA, Piacenza, Milano.
The prize has been awarded by an international jury composed of Elisabetta Barisoni, Head of the Museums Division Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia; Monica Bonvicini, Artist; Christian Levett, Collector, philanthropist and founder FAMM, Vieux Village de Mougins.

Oelle – Mediterraneo Antico Prize

Thomias Radin is the winner of the 4th edition of the Oelle – Mediterraneo Antico Prize, promoted by Fondazione Oelle. The artist will have the opportunity for a residency in Sicily, with the production of a work that explores the contamination of contemporary cultures and languages of the Mediterranean.
The artist is represented by the gallery Esther Schipper, Berlin, Paris.
The prize has been awarded by a jury composed of Caterina Riva, Director, Museo MACTE, Termoli; Alberto Salvadori, Director and founder, Fondazione ICA, Milano; Andrea Viliani, Director, MUCIV-Museo delle Civiltà, Roma.

Pista 500 Prize

Iris Touliatou is the winner of the 3rd edition of Pista 500 Prize, created in 2023 in collaboration with Pinacoteca Agnelli to offer the possibility for one artist to make a work on the permanent billboard on Pista 500, a project of site-specific art installations on the roof of Lingotto, close to Artissima.
The artist is represented by the gallery Sylvia Kouvali, London, Piraeus.
The award has been assigned by an international jury composed of Claude Adjil, Curator, Serpentine Gallery, London; Hendrick Folkerts, Curator and head of Exhibitions, Moderna Museet, Stockholm; Pietro Rigolo, Chief curator and head of Collection, Pinacoteca Agnelli, Torino; Nicola Trezzi, Curator, Pinacoteca Agnelli, Torino.

“ad occhi chiusi…” Prize 

Caroline Cordeiro wins the 5th edition of the “ad occhi chiusi…” Prize, based on collaboration between Artissima and Fondazione Merz and assigned to international artist whose work best reflects the Foundation’s research on young artists in the Mediterranean.
The artist is represented by Galatea, São Paulo, Salvador.
The prize has been awarded by a jury composed of Beatrice Merz, President, Fondazione Merz, Torino; Marta Mestre, Curator, MAC/CCB, Lisbon; Antonia Scintilla, Director, Fondation Pernod Ricard, Paris; Giulia Turconi, Assistant curator, Fondazione Merz, Torino.

Vilnius Residency Prize

Rodrigo Hernandez and Pietro Moretti are the winners of the first edition of the Vilnius Residency Prize, created in the context of the program Lithuanian Culture in Italy 2025-2026, and in dialogue with the City of Vilnius and the Embassy of the Lithuanian Republic in the Italian Republic. The prize offers the two artists the opportunity for a residency, with solid curatorial support and special access to the Lithuanian cultural network.
The artists are represented respectively by the galleries P420, Bologna and ChertLüdde, Berlin the former, and 1/9unosunove, Roma the latter.

Ettore and Ines Fico Prize

Giovanni Termini is the winner of the 16th edition of Ettore and Ines Fico Prize, organized by MEF – Museo Ettore Fico of Torino with the purpose of promoting and sustaining the work of young artists through an acquisition.
The artist is represented by ME Vannucci, Pistoia and was selected by the MEF management from the artists who stand out for their creative poetics and research on an international level.

Artissima New Entries Fund

The galleries Vohm, Seul; Trotoar, Zagabria; zazà, Milano, Napoli are the winners of the 3rd edition of the Artissima New Entries Fund, a fund directly supported by the fair to provide financial support to three galleries in the New Entries section, deemed most deserving based on the artistic quality of their proposal.
The prize has been awarded by an international jury composed of Zippora Elders, Senior curator, Van Abbemuseum, Eindhoven; Robert Leckie, Director, Gasworks, London; Lucas Morin, Senior curator, Art Jameel, Dubai; Maja Wismer, Head of Collection and Research, Kunsthaus Zurich.
