MADE IN

MADE IN, a project conceived and produced by Artissima since 2022 with the support of Camera di commercio di Torino, is now in its fourth edition. The winning artists are: Dario Capello (1997), Roberto Casti (1992), Lucia Cristiani (1991), Marco Schiavone (1990).
The selected artists will have the opportunity to collaborate with this year’s four partners: Blue Engineering, Ferrino, Galup and Oscalito 1936.

With the aim of highlighting new forms of artistic expression and encouraging the dissemination of ideas capable of stimulating the economic and productive ecosystem of the area that is the “cradle” of Artissima, MADE IN is based on the idea that corporate know-how and specialised production processes can become a precious resource for the creation of works of art. The four young artists selected will have the opportunity to get to know and work in four companies in the territory, absorbing and incorporating the technological and operative expertise with which they will come into contact into their own practice, and will have the chance to produce an original artwork between March and June 2026, which will be presented at Artissima 2026.

During the course of the residency, the artists will also be supported by four prestigious Turin galleries from the Artissima circuit who will follow their work as ‘project patrons:  Luce GalleryMazzoleniFranco Noero e Simóndi Gallery.

The project is curated for the fourth consecutive year by Sonia Belfiore, founder of Ultravioletto, arte + impresa.

LUCIA CRISTIANI

Lucia Cristiani (b. 1991, Milano) lives and works in Milano. Her work explores the landscape as an imaginative setting where different mental and temporal spaces converge, along with physical and symbolic affinities between objects, people, and places. After years of research and activism in Italy and Bosnia and Herzegovina, in post-conflict contexts marked by the negotiation of communal living, Cristiani explores coexistence through pre-human, dreamlike, and political imaginaries, delineating open ecosystems in which intimacy and community practices hybridize.

Ferrino
