Acquisitions Fund by Fondazione per l’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea CRT

On the occasion of its 25th anniversary, the Fondazione per l’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea CRT is increasing, for the third consecutive year, the historic Acquisitions Fund by a total of €300,000 to benefit the collections of GAM – Galleria Civica d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea and the Castello di Rivoli Museo d’Arte Contemporanea, allocating the highest budget of the last twelve years. Over time, thanks also to acquisitions made during Artissima, the Foundation has built a collection of over 930 contemporary artworks—one of the most prestigious at both national and international levels—with a total investment exceeding €41 million. The Scientific Committee, in close collaboration with the directors of Castello di Rivoli and GAM, selects the works to be acquired during the fair to enrich the collections of both museums. Thanks to this investment, the Acquisitions Fund plays a key role in ensuring that the works exhibited at the fair become inalienable heritage, entering the public collections of leading Italian art institutions.
