November in Torino means Artissima! The 28th edition of the most contemporary fair in Italy opens in just two days, with an exciting calendar of events, encounters and initiatives.
Conversations, presentations of art projects and catalogues, contributions by curators, artists, journalists and special guests from the world of cultural institutions, are all waiting for you at the Meeting Point by La Stampa and the Book Corner by Librerie Corraini. At Artissima you can explore the latest trends of international contemporary art: discover all the appointments not to be missed in our online agenda, and get ready for contemporary art week in Torino!
Today’s openings include the site-specific installation 6 CHAIRS by the Lithuanian artist Augustas Serapinas at the ballroom of Hotel Principi di Piemonte | UNA Esperienze, and the exhibition Rimbalzi at Grattacielo Intesa Sanpaolo, investigating the theme of the “ball” through images from the Archivio Publifoto Intesa Sanpaolo and the photography section of the bank’s historical archives.
Rimbalzi can also be seen online until 5 December on a special digital platform: a big virtual wall on which to view the selected works, each with interesting commentary on the contexts in which the shots were made. Discover it here!
We would like to remind you that tickets for Artissima 2021 are sold only online. Given the current healthcare situation, to enter Artissima and to enjoy a safe visit we urge you to have a look at the page of practical info on our website, and to review the Covid-19 Protocol that will be in effect during the days of the fair.
