Walkie Talkies & 5 SHOWS

26 February 2026 Journal News

Starting today, two online publishing formats are available, further developing Artissima’s international network and extending the fair beyond its traditional timeframe. They are the Walkie Talkies, itinerant conversations recorded in November 2025 amid the stands at Artissima, and 5 SHOWS, the digital feature that presents selections of exhibitions on view in various geographical areas of the world.

Below, you can discover all the developments and continue to follow us in the months to come, all the way to the announcement of the first new initiatives of the 2026 edition.

Walkie Talkies

The Walkie Talkies are conversations in motion between pairs of curators and international collectors, designed to offer a transversal, original and personal perspective on the artists and galleries taking part in Artissima. Conducted in physical presence during Artissima 2025, they have been recorded amid the stands of the fair and made available in video format on the digital channels of Artissima, starting in February 2026. Four itinerant conversations, eight authoritative voices, in a pathway that reflects the multiplicity of research and the ability of Artissima to generate active relationships within the global panorama of contemporary art.

The project for 2025 has been curated and moderated for the second consecutive year by Leonardo Bigazzi — curator of Fondazione In Between Art Film, Roma, and Lo schermo dell’arte, Firenze — to present four conversations conducted by eight contributors:
