Artissima Junior

Artissima and Juventus renew their collaboration once again this year and present a new edition of Artissima Junior entitled Worlds at Play, led this year by artist tutor Stefano Arienti (Asola, 1961), represented by Studio SALES di Norberto Ruggeri in Rome.

Artissima Junior is the special project launched in 2018, designed for the fair’s youngest visitors, aged 6 to 11. The initiative offers children the opportunity to experience contemporary art in a unique and engaging way, guided by an artist who accompanies them on a creative and participatory journey.

In Worlds at Play, artist Stefano Arienti, with a poetic and participatory approach, will explore the dimension of play in its primordial nature—free and unstructured—and will guide children through a workshop centered on the imaginative perception of the “other”: other playmates and teammates living in different cities, countries, continents; children who are not physically close yet are united by the need and joy of play, and by their shared role in shaping the world to come.

Through this “geography of imagination,” participants will reflect on the importance of children in every society, each with its own capacity to develop potential that is today nurtured through the universal language of free play.
