Artissima is Italy’s most important contemporary art fair. Since its establishment in 1994, it has combined the presence of an international market with a focus on experimentation and research.

Directed for the fifth year by Luigi Fassi and produced with the support of the Main Partner Intesa Sanpaolo, Artissima 2026 will take place from Friday 30 October to Sunday 1 November 2026, when the four historic sections of the fair — Main Section, New Entries, Monologue/Dialogue and Art Editions — and the three curated sections — Present Future, Back to the Future and Disegni — will come to life in the luminous spaces of the Oval Lingotto Fiere di Torino.

Artissima 2026 includes 183 Italian and international galleries, 67 of which will present monographic projects. The breadth of the programme reflects the galleries’ commitment to ambitious and experimental projects, bringing together emerging talents and established artists alike. This approach reflects the fair’s focus on the most innovative developments in contemporary art, reaffirming its position as a dynamic and accelerated encounter with artistic practice in all its forms, shaped by this year’s theme: Fancy: A Flexible, Acrobatic Body.
